1.Your NVR/DVR system DOES NOT contain a Hard Drive; . However, if you would like to record videos with this system, you NEED TO BUY A HARD DRIVE (or just purchased our HM241A)and here are some advises for the hard disk drive:Please select a 3.5 inches SATA hard drive specialized for 24/7 surveillance.

2.If your HD capacity is larger than 2TB(up tp 6TB), please replace the power adapter with one capable of providing more amps.

3.The hard drive is a consumable. Please select a hard drive with brand to ensure good quality, like Western Digital 1TB WD10PURZ, Seagate Skyhawk 1TB ST1000VX005,etc.

4.Please follow the user manual to install your hard drive and refer to the section of the Troubleshooting Guide to calculating the storage time.
