The directional tread design features a solid center rib and circumferential and lateral grooves that manage to find firm grip on such surface conditions. The FP8000 ensures a quiet drive. The tread design’s special phase-shifted lateral grooves channel the airwaves from the tire’s footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. As the airwaves do not touch the tread element, the road and tread pattern noise are not generated while the tires are in motion.
