The model is not meant to be used in winter weather as the decreased traction in cold temperatures makes it dangerous to use in such weather. The wide circumferential grooves enhance the water dispersing ability and avoid hydroplaning to ensure safer wet weather traction. The inner tread area features a variable pitch sequence that generates sound waves to negate the road noise heard while the tires are in motion.
