Transeagle TE118 OVERVIEW The Transeagle TE118 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS. The tire offers great all season traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design increase the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. Their combination enables the tire to enhance the grip with the use of extra biting edges. The siping pattern provides a higher number of biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible. Circumferential and angled lateral grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint. This significantly improves the overall hydroplaning resistance. Better handling is provided as well. The symmetric ribbed tread design maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion. This boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability throughout the performance. In other words, the tire enhances the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle’s commands. It upgrades the structure stability under the driving pressure affecting the tire. This makes sure the towing vehicle has full control over the trailer at all times. As a result, a safer towing experience is guaranteed. The TE118 enhances its load durability.
