Cosmo also offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Cosmo’s road hazard covers the first 25% of the tire’s tread life or 1 year from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty covers passenger vehicle and SUV sizes and it does not include sizes of the 40 series and below and 21-inch diameters and above. In order to qualify for the road hazard, the tires must be registered with Cosmo within 45 days after the purchase. The all season traction is guaranteed by combining the durable compound and the asymmetric tread design. This combination enables the tire to greatly improve the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The notched tread elements allow the tire to effectively grip the road surface with the use of extra biting edges. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions, boosting the summer and winter weather grip on the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet weather situations. Better high speed controllability is also ensured. The ribbed footprint maintains the surface contact while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the tire greatly upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
