The tire offers great all weather traction. The five-rib tread pattern, with the optimal tread design, and the all weather tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread’s ribbed pattern upgrades the year round gripping capability as the siping detail creates extra biting edges. The special all season compound maintains its flexibility throughout the year, including in colder temperatures, and prevents weather damage from harming the casing. The model’s wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all season tire compound increase the year round driving safety. The tire provides a longer lasting tread life. The compound slows the tread wear rate down significantly, with its wear-resistance. The ribbed tread pattern improves the tread life by preventing the formation of irregular wear across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthens the tread life and usability. The RT500 has exceptional durability. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked. This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps. The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire’s overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer’s recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
