Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken’s road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire’s tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.
The tire has excellent all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. It was manufactured using the 4D Nano design which is a new compound that increases the tread flexibility and road gripping ability, while lowering the heat generation of the tire. The asymmetric tread design increases the snow and wet traction by providing more biting edges. The four wide circumferential grooves eliminate water from below the tire footprint and, in this manner, resist hydroplaning situations. This makes the tire safer to use all year.
The asymmetric tread pattern also increases the handling and driving stability of the Falken Ziex CT60 A/S. The high-rigidity outside shoulder rib improves the steering responsiveness and accuracy and provides better road feedback. The driving stability is further improved with the exceptional traction the 3D sipes provide.
