This KidCo Child Safety Gate incorporates exclusive pressure-Plus technology, which forces additional pressure on the door frame when the handle is locked after each use, providing extra stability and security. No tools are needed for installation and the gate is white. There is a bar at the bottom of all pressure mount gates that helps keep the gate in place and this bar can be a tripping hazard when placed at the top of stairs. Extensions to go with this gate are available.
