Omni Trail Powersteel AST OVERVIEW The Omni Trail Powersteel AST is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS. The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. Year-round traction and hydroplaning resistance are offered with this model. Durable rubber materials keep the tire pliable in changing temperatures, by using weather-resistant rubber. On the other hand, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges that firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided thanks to the groove pattern. The grooves prevent water and slush from cutting off the tire’s road contact in wet conditions. This model promotes better controllability. The wide ribs on the shoulder guarantee the tire’s surface traction, which results in optimized steering responsiveness and towing stability.
