Maxxis ST Radial M8008 Plus
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Stronger load durability
- Longer lasting usability
OVERVIEW
The Maxxis ST Radial M8008 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire promotes great all season traction. The combination of the all season compound and the detailed symmetric tread design enhances the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The sipe and notch placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The model utilizes a unique apex compound in order to keep the rubber flexible in versatile weather conditions. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions, enhancing the wet weather performance.
The continuous center ribs maintain the surface contact throughout the performance. As a result, the tire is able to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability of the trailer. This closely follows the road surface at all times, which promotes a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The solid and stabilized shoulder blocks provide extra biting edges, increasing the cornering and maneuvering ability. This boosts the towing vehicle’s overall control over the trailer, resulting in a safer towing experience.
The reinforced dual-cord body structure and strengthened sidewalls enable the tire to increase the load capacity. These structural elements keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. This makes sure the tire has exceptional load carrying and withstanding ability since the tire does not deform. The heat-resistant compound minimizes the pressure accumulation across the tread area, which helps to absorb the shock absorption. As a result, the model helps to increase the overall load capacity and durability.
The ST Radial M8008 Plus provides an extended usability. The ribbed tread design and the specially formulated compound work together to enhance the service life. Stabilizing the footprint allows the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the tread area, preventing irregular wear formations. The tread also utilizes the specially formulated unique apex compound to prevent premature wear. This combination greatly boosts the overall service and tread life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
