OVERVIEW

The Thunderer Ranger R402 is a commercial all season tire made for commercial vans.

The special tire compound and unique tread pattern increase the all weather traction. The tread blocks grip the road in dry, wet and even in winter weather. The three main circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. This also improves the wet weather traction and makes the tire’s year round use more secure.

The enhanced wider tire footprint and the optimized road contact patch ensure a longer lasting usability and tread life. They prevent irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area by equally distributing the driving pressure across the tread area. The evenly spread out forces of acceleration, braking and cornering allows the tire’s tread to wear evenly throughout the tire’s life, which extends its life and makes the tire more cost-efficient.

The tread design’s solid shoulder pattern upgrades the driving stability, steering responsiveness and cornering ability. The shoulder tread block sequence maintains constant road grip and ensures that the tire follows the road surface in all weather conditions. The better road contact stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure, boosts the steering precision and responsiveness and upgrades the cornering ability and power. This ensures the tire is easily controlled in all situations.
