OVERVIEW

The Toyo M154 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicles all axle positions.

The tire promotes a fuel efficient performance. The five-rib symmetric tread design and the low rolling resistance construction work together to decrease the tires rolling resistance. The structure lowers the tires overall weight without sacrificing its traction to ease the driving pressure off it, while the tread ensures even pressure distribution. This combination significantly reduces the vehicles fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by reducing the models rolling resistance. In this manner, the tire ensures a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performing capability.

The tread pattern and the stronger compound increase the tread life. The five-rib pattern closely follows the road surface and evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of uneven tread wear, which extends the tread life greatly. The durable compound, on the other hand, manages to slow the tread wear rate down, which lengthens the tires usability significantly.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The detailed tread pattern, with the optimal tread block placement and siping pattern, enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion. The all season compound maintains the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions. It prevents heat build-up and keeps the tire pliable even in colder temperatures. The treads pattern improves the hydroplaning with the optimal tread design. The tread grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, enhancing the wet and winter performance.

The models reinforced construction and durable compound enhance the damage resistance. The special E-balance profiles optimal pressure distribution and the reinforced structure protect the tire against damage. They prevent punctures, cuts and other damage from shortening the tires service life, while also maintaining the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model.
