OVERVIEW

The Nitto NT420V is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some high performance sizes as well.

The asymmetric tread design and the all season tire compound enhance the all weather traction. They work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather surface grip throughout the tires performance. The all season compound improves the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, while the asymmetric treads optimized elements enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the tires performance. The treads wide groove pattern channels water and slush from below the footprint, keeping the tires surface contact at all times and actively preventing hydroplaning in the process. This combination ensures the tires excellent all weather performing capability.

The tread design improves the tires controllability. The asymmetric treads constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the drivers commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The treads larger outer shoulder block placement upgrades the cornering capability. These blocks increase the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges, which upgrades the cornering and maneuvering ability. As a result, the tire the drivers control over the vehicle in all weather.

The model upgrades its tread life length. The non-directional tread design enhances the models usability by ensuring even wear along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoid irregular wear formations across the tread area. The guaranteed even wear along the tread area lengthens the tread life and usability significantly.

The light truck sizes of the NT420V tire model feature a reinforced internal structure. This steel belt construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. In this manner, the light truck sizes can easily carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, without the tire shapes deformation during the tires performance.
