Description
The Daiwa 23 Exceler LT Spinning Reels feature the innovative ZAION V carbon fiber body. This new version is 3%-5% lighter than our current EXCELER, even for comparable sizes. It also boasts a high-performing AIRDRIVE ROTOR & AIRDRIVE BAIL system, similar to our top-of-the-line EXIST model. However, unlike the EXCELER, the BAIL is not tubular but rather solid, providing increased rigidity and resistance to bending during regular use. Additionally, the use of a thinner and smaller bail wire results in a lighter rotation and overall weight reduction. The machined aluminum handle serves as a robust and comfortable connection to the main gear, while the retooled EXCELER is remarkably smooth thanks to the incorporation of 5 ball bearings and 1 roller bearing for optimal performance. AIR BAIL- Daiwa?s innovative bail design features a hollow tubular stainless steel bail that delivers maximum rigidity and strength with minimum weight. AIR ROTOR- Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that?s come before, ?Air Rotor? delivers a great leap forward in rotor design and function. ATD DRAG- Daiwa?s Automatic Tournament Drag uses an improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag start up. ZAION V BODY-A new generation of lightweight Daiwa?s resin and carbon material. The Zaion V material is both strong and incredibly lightweight. LT TOUGH FRAME- Daiwa’s exclusive compact frame design allows for maximum weight reduction.
