Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 RFT OVERVIEW The Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 RFT (*) is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. This model also has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes as well. This is the original equipment tire of select BMW vehicles. This tire is a run flat model. That means that, in the case of air pressure loss, the tire’s reinforced structure will temporarily support the weight of the vehicle and the passengers. The tire can function for 50 miles at the limited speed of 50 mph, allowing the driver to arrive at a safe destination where the tire can be repaired or changed without getting stranded at the side of the road. Run flat tires are made for vehicles that do not have space for a spare tire. They are heavier than regular tires and because of this, they cannot be mixed with regular tires. The model has great all weather traction and grips the road well in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. This is made possible by the excellent compound and tread design that improve its traction.
