KILZ RESTORATION® Primer is a high-performance water-based primer, sealer, and stain blocker designed to tackle tough interior stains and odors. It blocks heavy water damage, smoke, nicotine, tannin, grease, and pet stains while sealing persistent pet, food, and smoke odors. Ideal for drywall, woodwork, plaster, masonry, brick, painted metal, tile, glass, and most glossy surfaces.
- Advanced Stain Blocking: Water-based primer that offers oil- and shellac-like performance, helping block heavy stains including water damage, rust, smoke, nicotine, grease, tannin, ink, and pet stains.
- Odor-Sealing Formula: Helps seal persistent odors such as pet, food, and smoke, and can be used on subfloors before installing new carpet or flooring.
- Interior Multi-Surface Use: Suitable for drywall, plaster, woodwork, masonry, brick, painted metal, ceramic tile, glass, and most properly prepared glossy surfaces.
- Quick Recoat Time: Dries to the touch in 30 minutes; ready to topcoat in 1 hour with either water-based or oil-based paint.
- High Coverage: One gallon covers 300-400 sq. ft. depending on surface porosity. Apply using a brush, roller, or airless sprayer.
