OVERVIEW

The Nokian One HT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. It also has some commercial van sizes available. Nokian offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light truck sizes and a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with the SUV sizes of this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread block placement and the all season tire compound work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. These tread elements boost the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, even in winter. The compound improves the rubber flexibility during the drive. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and maintain the tire’s surface contact while the tires are in motion. This combination enhances the tire’s year round driving safety levels.

The tread design upgrades the load durability. The tire features a reinforced internal structure which keeps the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the tire. In other words, the tire does not deform under the pressure during its performance. This enables the tire’s heavy load durability, in other words, it ensures that the model is capable of carrying and withstanding heavy loads with ease. The steering is faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tire ensures the driver’s full control over the vehicle during its performance.

The optimal all weather traction improves the tire’s fuel efficient performance. It enables the tire to ease the driving pressure off the tire, which greatly lowers the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tires which determines the vehicle’s needed energy intake in order to keep them in motion. As the tire reduces the rolling resistance, it significantly lowers the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The One HT upgrades the damage resistance as well. The strengthened construction not only keeps the ideal tire shape throughout the tire’s performance, but it also boosts the damage resistance. The tire protects the casing from punctures, cuts and impact damage in this manner, which significantly extends its usability and service life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
