The Accelera Iota ST68 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire has excellent all weather traction thanks to its asymmetrical tread pattern, as it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The circumferential main grooves and the Exclamation Sipes improve the wet traction of the tire and its hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water from below the tire footprint. The better traction and the resistance to hydroplaning upgrade the all weather traction, offering year round safety.

The tread pattern also enhances the driving stability and steering responsiveness. The three interlocking tread block lanes stabilize the tire against the driving pressure, even at high speeds, allowing the tire to perform up to its highest capabilities. The tire’s tread design and tire compound ensure a more fuel efficient drive. The lightweight compound and the dynamic medium lateral grooves work together to decrease the tire’s rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tires in motion. The lower the rolling resistance the less the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions will be. This makes the tire environmentally friendly and fuel conscious at the same time.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The all weather tire compound and dual zone asymmetric tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter road gripping ability. The compound keeps its flexibility in various temperatures, while the asymmetric tread breaks the tire up into a dry and wet/winter weather zones.
