OVERVIEW
The Farroad FRD66 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger and crossover vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes great controllability. The ribbed tread pattern’s three center ribs maintain the tire’s road contact at all times. The better road contact increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. In this manner, the driver can confidently control the vehicle throughout the year.
The tread pattern and all season tire compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design’s optimal siping detail firmly grips the road surface at all times, which improves the year round performance. The tire compound manages to keep the tire’s flexible traction even in colder temperature winter weather. The tread’s wide circumferential grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire’s footprint and provide a secure driving experience.
The FRD66 offers a quiet drive. The tread design features a closed shoulder tread pattern which decreases the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion. The closed pattern prevents the airwaves from entering the tire’s footprint and coming into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise is not generated and it is not heard in the vehicle’s cabin during the drive, ensuring a comfortable performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
