Firestone FD663 11R22.5 144L G OVERVIEW Made for use on local P&D service, long haul, and regional haul applications, the Firestone FD663 is a drive axle radial tire. The tire features an advanced open-shoulder design that provides traction and grip in mud and snow conditions. The FD663’s tie bars control tread block movement to minimize the chances of irregular wear and increase service life. For increased casing durability and better retreadability, the tire features four full-width steel belts. Thanks to the advanced cap/base compounding, which combines a slow-wearing cap compound with a cool-running base to protect the casing from damage caused by heat to offer better retreadability. The deeper 26/32″ inch tread depth of the tire helps boost wet and dry traction.
