OVERVIEW
Firestone’s Firehawk GT boasts a number of cutting-edge features for a truly high-performance all-season tire for use on sporty coupes and sedans. The Firehawk GT utilizes Firestone’s UNI-T technology to blend bead, casing, and tread together for superb performance and durability, and includes twin steel belts, a polyester cord layer, and spiral-wrapped jointless nylon layer, with a reinforced sidewall for extra rigidity and a high-silica tread compound. On the ground, the Firehawk GT features a asymmetric all-season tread with angled and circumferential grooves to resist hydroplaning, and Firestone’s Veri-Pitch system of computer-tuned tread pitch that keeps road noise down. Additionally, the Firehawk GT is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life.
