The TiCo Hi-Density carbide tips of the Diablo 8 1/2-inch X 60 tooth fine finish saw blade have a high tungsten content for extra hardness. This provides a flawless finish when crosscutting melamine, molding, oak, pine and plywood. A Perma-SHIELD nonstick coating prevents blade distortion, corrosion, humidity and resin buildup. The laser-cut Diablo 8-1/2-inch fine finish saw blade has a very narrow .087-inch kerf that makes the blade fast, accurate and ideal for use with portable or low-powered job site saws. Visible on the blade surface are stabilizer vents, which reduce noise and vibration and help you achieve a smooth cutting performance. Tri-metal brazing bonds the teeth of the Diablo 60-tooth saw blade to its tough steel body. Unlike standard blades, which use a single brazing layer, this Diablo blade sandwiches a copper alloy layer between two layers of silver alloy for flexibility and impact resistance. This protects the blade tips and their steel shoulders from stresses and cracks during operation.
