OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Assurance Triplemax is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model has some high performance sizes available.
The tire provides exceptional all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern and the special polymer tread compound work together to guarantee first-rate dry, wet and light winter weather road gripping ability. The polymer compound also helps boost the wet weather traction and, along with the circumferential grooves, effectively prevents hydroplaning situations by dispersing water and slush from below the tire footprint. The safer traction and excellent hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer driving experience all year.
The model offers excellent handling as well. The wider tire footprint maintains constant road contact which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes quick and precise to the driver’s instructions, while the tire’s shape is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The Assurance Triplemax promotes a fuel efficient drive. The polymer tire compound’s remarkable road gripping ability lowers the tire’s rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the power affecting the tire that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The reduced rolling resistance effectively decreases the vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, making the tire more environmentally friendly and fuel conscious.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
