OVERVIEW

The Americus All Terrain is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The tire offers great all weather and all terrain traction. The tread design features wide grooves, an open shoulder design and large, staggered tread blocks that firmly grip the soft, loose and uneven road surface. The model is capable of easily performing on all terrain conditions as the tread elements ensure constant road grip. The wide grooves actively prevent stone retention and keeps the footprint clean by eliminating rocks and mud stuck between the tread elements. This ensures a secure all terrain performance in all weather conditions.

The tread design’s special tread elements boost the all weather traction. They firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather to ensure a safer driving experience. The wide grooves and open shoulder design work together to resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The staggered tread blocks prevent snow from packing into the tread grooves and blocking the tire’s contact with the road surface.

The All Terrain promotes great controllability both on and off-road. The tread design’s center tread block rib and the shoulder tread blocks maintain constant road contact. They increase the driving stability and steering responsiveness greatly. In other words, the steering becomes quick and precise, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The shoulder tread blocks manage to increase the number of biting edges to boost the cornering ability and power. The better controllability and cornering capability guarantee a safer driving experience in all weather and on all terrain conditions.
