OVERVIEW

The Nexen Aria AH7 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Nexen offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather thanks to the special tread block stiffness. The stiffness of the tread blocks prevents the tread elements from shifting around during the drive and provides a better road gripping ability. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. The better road gripping ability and all weather traction increase the tire’s year round driving safety.

The model’s uniform block distribution, block stiffness and optimized tread design increase the steering responsiveness, driving stability and the cornering ability and power. The steering responsiveness and driving stability ensure that the tire will be handled and controlled with ease. They maintain constant road contact and offer a quick and accurate response to the driver’s commands, while stabilizing the tire against the external driving forces affecting them. The shoulder tread block sequence provides additional biting edges to the tire in all weather and it increases the cornering ability and power. The better steering, stability and cornering improve the model’s controllability.

The computer optimized five-rib pitch sequence lowers the road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The pitch sequence creates a sound frequency that negates the road noise generated while the tires are in motion. This offers a comfortable and quiet driving experience, as the road noise does not bother the vehicle’s passengers.

The Aria AH7 offers a longer tread life with the tread pattern’s uniform center tread design. This uniformity avoids uneven wear forming across the tread area as it equally distributes the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
