OVERVIEW

The Nexen Roadian HTX RH5 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. This model has some touring passenger vehicle sizes as well. Nexen offers a 40,000 mile treadwear warranty with LT-metric sizes and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with P-metric sizes of this model.

The tire has exceptional all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and even winter conditions thanks to the symmetric tread design and the all season tire compound. They enhance the road grip and ensure great performing on-road ability. The four-channel circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The better water evacuation and road gripping ability ensure year round driving safety.

The special three- and four-division tread pattern enhances the tread life and usability. The multi-sequenced tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, which avoids irregular wear patterns forming across the tread area. The prevention of uneven tread wear extends the tread life and usability by promoting even wear throughout the tire’s lifetime. The tread pattern’s unique zigzag grooves boost the tire’s braking ability. They grip the road surface well and create friction at the moment of braking, which shortens the braking distance significantly, increasing the driving safety.

The reinforced rigid shoulder tread pattern improves the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The shoulder tread blocks maintain their optimal shape and provide additional biting edges during cornering and maneuvering. They also stabilize the tire against the driving pressure affecting them, which increases the tire’s handling. The controllability is further enhanced by the tread design’s center rib that keeps the tire glued to the road surface at all times. The Roadian HTX RH5’s offers a comfortable driving experience. The internal structure features twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon and a two-ply polyester casing that work together to upgrade the driving durability and decrease the road vibrations. The tire maintains its optimal shape against the driving pressure, which allows it to perform to its utmost capability. The two-ply casing makes the model closely follow the road surface to lower the road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin, making the drive safer and more enjoyable.
