OVERVIEW
Pirelli’s Cinturato Winter 2 is a winter tire that’s designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and minivans and features multi-active 4D sipes that enhance handling on snowy roads. Wide shoulder grooves, narrow center grooves, and main groove chamfers drain water out of the tread to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet and slushy roads, and the Cinturato Winter 2’s V-shaped tread pattern further enhances hydroplaning resistance while also allowing for better snow on snow contact to improve traction and handling performance. Interlocking 3D sipes bite into the road to increase grip and reduce braking distances, and the Cinturato Winter 2’s innovative rubber compound reduces uneven wear to promote a longer tread life so that drivers get more miles out of their purchase.
