The blue 2.36 oz./yd2 polyethylene fabric is reinforced with eight vertical and eight horizontal threads per square inch. Todays above ground pools have larger top rails, so it is important to have extra material to cover the entire pool. This cover has an additional four-foot overlap, to ensure this cover will fit your pool. The topside of this winter cover has been treated to inhibit damaging UV rays. The bottom of this winter cover is black to prevent algae growth in your pool. Two aluminum grommets four inches on center are placed every four feet around the perimeter. The included plastic coated cable is threaded through the grommets and the included ratchet lock allows you to tighten the cover to your pool.
