OVERVIEW

The Americus Touring Plus is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Americus offers a 60,000 mile tread wear warranty with this tire model.

The tire offers first-rate all weather traction. The semi-asymmetric tread design manages to keep the tire’s road contact in dry, wet and winter weather conditions which improves its road gripping ability. The all season compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures which ensures constant traction and a safer drive. The wide circumferential grooves manage to prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The combination of the better traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure excellent year round driving security.

The tread design keeps the tire close to the road surface. Thanks to its tread design, the tire ensures a comfortable drive as it does not allow road vibrations from forming. The lower levels road vibrations felt in the vehicle’s cabin guarantee an enjoyable driving experience in all conditions. The constant road contact also manages to improve the tire’s handling. The Touring Plus ensures a longer lasting tread life. The tread pattern actively resists irregular tread wear formations by equally spreading out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking.
