OVERVIEW

The Firestone Destination LE2 (TO) is a highway terrain, all season tire made for crossover vehicles, SUVs light trucks. This specific tire is marked with TO as it is the original equipment of Toyota vehicles. This model has some touring passenger vehicles sizes as well. This is an original equipment tire of select vehicle models.

The detailed tread pattern promotes excellent all weather traction. The continuous closed shoulder tread block design improves the dry performance. The circumferential grooves, zigzag siping detail and the sweeping grooves prevent hydroplaning and boost the wet weather traction by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The stepped inside notches and the zigzag sipes find good grip on snow and ice-covered road surfaces. The enhanced road gripping ability ensures a safer year round driving experience.

The special five-degree variation of the tread pattern helps lower the road noise heard in the vehicle’s cabin. The five-degree variation negates the road noise generated while the tires are in motion, by creating a sound frequency that cancels out the pattern noise. The lowered road noise levels ensure a more comfortable and quiet driving experience in all weather.

The tread design and the internal structure work together to offer a longer lasting tread life. The internal structure’s twin steel belts reinforce the tire to be resistant to accidental damages and punctures. The tread’s continuous shoulder block design boosts the road gripping ability and prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area. The shoulder tread blocks evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area and avoid irregularities in the tread wear. This extends the tire’s usability and its tread life significantly.

The improved road contact increases the tire’s driving stability and steering responsiveness, making the tire quick and accurate in its response to the driver’s instructions. The internal structure features a spirally wrapped nylon cord that ensures a maintained uniformity at all times.
