OVERVIEW

The Travelstar UN106 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Travelstar offer a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design with the detailed siping pattern and the solid tread elements improve the dry, wet and winter weather traction while the tires are in motion. The constant road contact ensures a secure performance all year round as the tread elements firmly grip the road surface in all weather. The tread design also features wide circumferential and smaller lateral grooves that prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The maintained road contact and better hydroplaning resistance guarantee a safer all weather performance.

The maintained road contact of the tread design upgrades the tire’s controllability. The solid center rib keeps the tire close to the road surface, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering is faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires. The optimized shoulder tread blocks increase the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface during cornering and maneuvering situations. This results in a secure control and performing capability.

The UN106 ensures a comfortable drive. The optimized tire footprint enables the tire to closely follow the road surface.
