OVERVIEW

The Starmaxx Mountterra M/T is a mud terrain, all season tire made for light trucks.

The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound upgrade the model’s load durability and damage resistance. Harsh terrain applications require better resistance to tread and casing damage. The casing, the tread design, and the compound work together to boost the tire’s service life. As they prevent such damage, the tire’s usability is not shortened. The strengthened internal structure also enhances the tire’s load capacity, as it does not deform under load and driving pressure.

Off-road traction is provided with this tire model. The model manages to effectively increase its soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. These aggressive tread elements enhance the tire’s consistent forward motion, upgrading its deep mud and soft dirt grip. On the other hand, the tread design also keeps the footprint clean as well. Mud and snow cannot pack between the tread elements and block surface contact. Additionally, it also avoids stone retention, protecting the tread area throughout the drive.

The tread design is able to grip the driving surface firmly, while the all season compound maintains rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. These elements improve the year-round traction.

The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
